Dry Shampoo For Natural Hair?!

Dry Shampoo For Natural Hair?!

This post is sponsored by Waterl<ss.

One of my focuses for 2020 is to see more GROWTH in my hair. My hair has always been really thick, and is bra strap length when straightened out, and has been this same length for a while. As an Influencer, I manipulate my hair often trying new products and styles, which can stunt hair growth a lot. I’m ready to push past this length, and one thing I’m doing to reach this goal of mine is to not wash and manipulate my hair as often.

I tried Waterl<ss Dry Shampoo, to help me extend the time between my wash days and was very impressed with how well it worked on my natural hair! If you’re like me, and have coarse, kinky hair, you may have thought dry shampoo couldn’t be used on our hair type. I’ve believed this since literally way back in the day. But sis, I’m here to tell you to no longer believe this assumption. I start by sectioning my hair and apply the dry shampoo foam to my scalp, then I apply a small amount of the hair balm to each section of hair, and lastly, I add a small amount of the curl milk, then style!

I’ve gone from washing my hair once per week to once every two weeks, and I’m going to continue using this dry shampoo to hold me over until I get ready to wash and restyle. It’s also great to use in between workouts which is another plus, cause ya girl is trying to lose some quarantine weight over here, lol, so I will be back working out very soon! And it’s so dope that I’ll get to refresh my hair, without having to have a full wash day, after the gym (something I never would’ve thought was possible before *praise hands emoji*).

The Waterl<ss brand also has an awesome story behind it! In its early stages, the brand was designed for the people of Cape Town, South Africa during a major water shortage. This gave the people of the town a way to still have fresh clean hair, even though they couldn’t wash their hair as often. These products are also paraben, sulfate, and alcohol free, which is a must for many of us naturals.

Leave a comment and let me know if you’ve ever tried dry shampoo! Also let me know if you’re planning on checking out the Waterl<ss collection (available at Walmart), and if you do how it works for you! https://bit.ly/waterless-136
